Refund Policy

1. Overview

Blame Media Pty Ltd (ABN 65 682 831 705) provides professional services including graphic design, web design, layout design, design automation, AI automation, lead generation, and strategic consultation. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for services rendered.

2. Service Agreements

All service engagements are governed by a written agreement, proposal, or statement of work ("Service Agreement") between Blame Media and the client. The Service Agreement outlines the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, payment terms, and any project-specific refund or cancellation terms.

Where the terms of a Service Agreement conflict with this Refund Policy, the Service Agreement takes precedence.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on the stage of the project:

  • Before work commences: If you cancel a project before any work has begun, you are entitled to a full refund of any fees paid, minus any non-refundable deposit specified in the Service Agreement.
  • Work in progress: If you cancel a project after work has commenced, a partial refund may be issued based on the proportion of work not yet completed. Blame Media reserves the right to retain fees for work already performed, including time spent on research, planning, and production.
  • Completed deliverables: Once deliverables have been submitted and approved by the client, or the revision period specified in the Service Agreement has elapsed, no refund will be issued.

4. Revisions and Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with the quality of work delivered, we encourage you to contact us before requesting a refund. Most Service Agreements include a revision period during which we will work with you to address concerns and make reasonable adjustments at no additional cost.

If a resolution cannot be reached through the revision process, a partial or full refund may be considered at our discretion, taking into account the scope of work completed and the nature of the concern.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Deposits or retainers specified as non-refundable in the Service Agreement.
  • Third-party costs incurred on behalf of the client (e.g. stock images, fonts, hosting, domain registration, software licences).
  • Consultation fees for completed sessions.

6. Cancellation by Blame Media

In the unlikely event that Blame Media is unable to fulfil a service engagement, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund for any work not yet delivered.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us in writing at the email address below. Include your name, the project or invoice reference, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. The exact timing may vary depending on your payment provider.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Existing Service Agreements will continue to be governed by the refund terms in effect at the time they were signed.
